Being found is not luck, it is built on purpose.
Some of the most talented people I know are also the best-kept secrets in their field.
It is not that they are avoiding their story. Most of them are not thinking about it at all. They are heads-down doing beautiful work, quietly hopeful that the right people will find them.
Here is the part that stings a little...
Rarely do the right people find you by accident anymore. The space your clients live in is loud. It is packed with sales pitches, ads, and marketing noise from the moment they wake up until they put the phone down at night. In a room that crowded, hope is not a plan. When we are surrounded by sales pitches all day long, the noise will often win.
Being found is not luck.
It is built on purpose. It comes from the real work of showing what makes you different and connecting with the exact people you are meant to serve. That is what turns "I hope they find me" into "of course they found me."
You are already extraordinary at what you do. The next step is making sure the right people actually know it, on purpose, by design.
That part, the being found on purpose part, is the work I love most. My inbox is open.
